I would like to open this blog with the impressions I have from the time I have spent in the city of Munich - one year and four months, and it was the first city in Western Europe where I have been more than a year. I came to Munich to experience the way of German life and to learn the language through an AuPair program. Exciting, but at the same time challenging!
Things I always want to see when I travel are museums, galleries, theatres and all kinds of art spaces. Important thing is that Munich is expensive, but there are days when one can visit museum for one euro, some are free, and most of them have reduced price on specific days.

I enjoyed in Pinakothek der Moderne, where is possible to see the artist from different periods of modern art. Building of museum is impressive, so if you just decide to go there and walk around, you won`t regret it. It is minimalistic and bright, with big round stairs in the middle.
There are areas and comfortable benches where you can sit and enjoy in certain work, or read the museum book.
I liked the part dedicated to Joseph Beuys, especially his portrait made by Andy Warhol, and his famous `Felt suit`.
